Designing an eCommerce website and digital product for CleverCards
CleverCards wanted to introduce a new product to their personalized card range. Personalized calendars. CleverCards business was primarily mobile, via the iPhone and Android app.
This new product, personalized Calendars, would entail
A redesign of their current website as well as
A Calendar studio tool – a tool to let users create and customize a printed calendar.
A Card studio tool – a tool to let users create and customize cards
The project kicked off 2 months before the Christmas selling period. Leaving only days for the design stage.
MY ROLE
Updating the Brand guidelines for the brand itself and the new website
Determining the project requirements through user research
Create the userflows
Creative direct the visuals
Conduct user testing and determine what iterative improvements / tradeoffs to be made
QA manager / release manger for finished product
THE PROJECT RESULTS
20% point increase of registrations in android, increased split of 80/20 to Facebook / email users.
10% point increase of registration on iPhone, increased split form 51/49 split between Facebook / email users to 58/42 between Facebook / email users.
